Hi! I’m Courtney.

I paint from the things that move me — the pulse of music, the stillness of quiet moments, the wild beauty of the outdoors. These are the places where I feel most alive, most connected, and my canvas is where those impressions take shape.

Each painting is an energetic fingerprint, a trace of how it felt to be in that moment: the rhythm of a song, the hush of wind through trees, the awe of standing on a high ridge. Art gives me the freedom to capture the sensations of those moments.

At its heart, my practice is about connection. My work begins as a dialogue between myself and the world around me — but it only comes alive when someone else encounters it, bringing their own rhythms, meanings, and reflections. What I love about abstract art in particular is how a single expression can take on multiple meanings, its all in the eye of the beholder.
