Updated design of brochures and booklets for Hospice of Marshall County – Shepherd’s Cove. There are so many people involved in hospice care–from doctors, nurses and volunteer caregivers to the patients’ and their families. In collaboration with HMC-SC, I created a series of brochures to provide information specific to each group. The brochures are distributed by our professional medical liaisons, social workers and volunteers in an effort to spread the word and inform as many people about hospice care as possible.
Vision 2020 is a capital campaign in support of Hospice of Marshall County, a non-profit hospice organisation operating in North Alabama. The goal of the Vision 2020 campaign is to raise $3,000,000 between 2015 and 2020 to better serve the community and HMC’s long-term ability to thrive in a challenging healthcare environment.
They approached me with the task of creating the look and feel of the campaign, as well as brochure, flyers and a newsletter to get the campaign off the ground. In order to maintain consistency from the campaign to the organisation, we retained the stylistic guidelines of Hospice of Marshall County’s brand in development of materials for Vision 2020.
Vision 2020 is a bold and ambitious campaign that has emerged out of this organisation’s drive to provide top-quality hospice services to it’s local community. Therefore, it was only appropriate to design the logo to reflect this without creating something too flashy or exotic. The details are subtle, but the serifs create a sense of forward motion and progression despite their sturdy foundation. And the 0’s in 2020 create a sense of vision and focus on the future with gold symbolising the assured ambition and success of this project. Check out hospicemc.orgto support them!
