What services do you offer?

The projects that I undertake most often include:

  • Books and magazines
  • Brand identity
  • Business stationery
  • Printed marketing – flyers, posters, brochures
  • Web based marketing – web ads, banners, icons, social media
  • Web design – responsive websites designed in Squarespace or WordPress
  • Invitations, tee shirts, and more.

If you don’t see what you’re looking for, please feel free to contact me anyway. If your project doesn’t fall within my area of expertise, I will be happy to put you in touch with a trusted professional who can help.

How much do you charge?

Every project is different so I’ve found it best to work one-on-one with my clients to determine a suitable budget. If you’d like to get a quote on a project, please get in touch.

What is your process?

First, we’ll discuss the project in detail in person, via phone/Skype or email. This will give me an idea of the scope of the project so I can provide you with an accurate quote. Once I have the information I need and we have agreed on a budget and deadline, I will begin my design work. I will be in touch with you along the way to gather your feedback and keep the process moving forward.

Why should I hire a graphic designer?

Your computer probably comes packed with all the tools you need to create a flyer, business card or brochure and you’ve probably found some software online that let’s you create a logo using clip art and a selection of fonts–so why would you want to pay a professional to do the work?

Time & money: You probably have enough on your plate already, why spend time trying to learn design software and then come up with designs on your own when you can hire a professional to do it in a fraction of the time? Also, a graphic designer will know the most cost effective way to design your materials in order to keep production costs at a minimum.

Your business is unique: You want your business to stand out, so why would you use the same clip art and canned designs that hundreds of other businesses like yours are using? A unique brand identity will raise your business above the rest and help you stand out in a crowded market place.

Consistency: You know how important consistency is in branding, even though you might not have realised it. For example: I bet if I showed you a particular snippet of red with a curly typeface you’d think “coca cola,” or if I showed you a specific shade of blue with the letter “f” centred in a box with rounded corners you’d think “facebook.” You’re not going to be remembered well by customers if your look is inconsistent with various fonts, colours and (yes I’ve seen it happen) multiple logos. A professional graphic designer will know which fonts and colours to use where, what sizes, shapes or icons should be used, and will be able to consistently replicate the style of your brand across various media.

Results: Many clients have an idea of how they want their business materials to look, but have no way to accomplish the task. A designer will be able to listen to your ideas and cater a solution specific to your preferences and your budget ensuring that the end result meets the goals for you and your business.

Can we work together remotely?

Yes! I live in the UK but have several clients in the US so I’m accustomed to working remotely across different time zones. I’ll be happy to accommodate your schedule, and if we can’t meet in person we can definitely exchange ideas via email, phone or Skype.
